As part of its efforts to empower students and prepare future healthcare professionals, Al Jalila Foundation has supported Reem Hatem with a scholarship to study the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU). Following her graduation from the Doctor of Medicine program, Reem continued her journey at MBRU, where she now works as a Clinical Tutor while pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Professions Education through the university’s postgraduate programs.

Reem Hatem expressed her gratitude for the support she received, saying: “The scholarship I received from Al Jalila Foundation was a turning point in my journey. It allowed me to continue working toward my dream of studying medicine without financial barriers standing in my way. It also strengthened my determination to keep learning and serving the community.”
Reem explained that studying medicine represents a calling and a responsibility, given the humanitarian nature of the field. She noted that MBRU has provided her with a supportive educational environment that combines academic knowledge with clinical training, alongside opportunities to train across Dubai Health facilities. She also emphasized that the ongoing support of faculty members has enabled her to develop her practical and leadership skills.
