As a hub for scientific discovery and biomedical innovation, the Biomedical Research Center (BRC) brings together leading local and international scientists to address some of the region’s most pressing health challenges. Its research priorities span cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, obesity, mental health, and other emerging health priorities, supporting the translation of scientific knowledge into meaningful advances for patients, communities, and the future of healthcare.
Al Jalila Foundation advances learning through giving by providing targeted funding opportunities, including seed grants, international fellowships, and collaborative research programs. Through these initiatives, the Foundation continues to accelerate discoveries that can shape the cures of tomorrow and support the UAE’s biomedical research ecosystem.
Since 2014, Al Jalila Foundation has supported 124 scientific research projects across 15 institutions with a total of AED 34 million.
